Global Road Safety Partnership, Geneva
Dear Ray,
As the end of 2011 approaches and we look forward to 2012, I would like to thank you for your contributions to the work of the Global Road Safety Partnership during the year.
As the Decade of Action for Road Safety gets going, our small, but growing, multi sector partnership is playing its part in helping to reduce death and injury on the roads. The eleven years of work before 2011 have allowed us all to create the platform from which we have been able to create some really important steps forward this year towards creating a global team – a team that I believe can in the future be built up to demonstrate an impact on this man-made crisis at a global level.
Your trademark work for us in developing police capacity at senior levels is very much appreciated. We are becoming known as an organisation that can be effective in engaging and working with road safety law enforcement agencies in many countries. Your contribution to this reputation has been really important. This team effort is going to continue and accelerate in 2012.
Your contributions really have been important in helping our wheel of effort move around, and I’d like to thank you again for them and to wish you a very happy holiday season and a great 2012!
Kind regards,
Andrew Pearce
Chief Executive
Global Road Safety Partnership
National Safety Council, Ireland
Dear Ray,
On behalf of the National Safety Council I wish to thank you most sincerely for your participation in our conference “Saving Lives on Our Roads – Is there a Better Investment” on June 23rd last. Feedback from delegates indicates that your presentation was very well received, was well researched and contributed to a most successful conference.
You have made a significant contribution to the continuing implementation of road safety policies and activities in Ireland.
I have pleasure in sending you, as a small token of our appreciation for your efforts, a piece of Waterford Crystal by renowned Irish designer, John Rocha, and look forward to meeting you again in the future.
Kind regards,
Yours sincerely,
E. A. Shaw,
Chairman

VLine
This letter is to confirm that Victor Robb has provided V/Line Passenger with Conflict Management training for the past five years. In that time he has been responsible for training our newly recruited Conductor groups in skills with dealing with customers that use our services.
His training sessions cover how to maintain personal safety, enhance professionalism, reduce stress, both on the job and at home, reduce customer complaints, and how to enhance customer service and community contact.
Victor’s experience and knowledge in training in the public transport industry is very solid, as he understands the needs of our employees as well as the needs of our customers. Feedback from V/Line employees on Victor’s presentation style and ability to identify with the training groups has always been positive. I have personally taken part in his sessions and was impressed by his knowledge of managing conflict within the industry, and his ability to apply this knowledge in a suitable and practical manner.
As a regular user of public transport in Victoria (both regional and metropolitan), Victor is constantly providing us with feedback on what he observes in the field and how we can improve staff training and effectively manage key issues as they arise.
We have also engaged with Victor to provide one-on-one coaching for employees that have had specific issues with customers. Feedback from their direct supervisors afterwards has always been positive, as previous behaviour has markedly changed.
I am more than happy to recommend Victor as an effective training provider for the public transport industry. He is very committed and passionate about his topic content and is always prepared to provide extra support and advice.
Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me or my colleague, Sabitha Naidu, on (03) 9619 5900
Yours Sincerely
Halide Mrkic

Yarra Trams
To Whom It May Concern: From the period July 2000 until the sale of M>Trams to Yarra Trams, I was the General Manager. During this time, due to a rise in customer verbal and physical assaults and staff’s difficulty in dealing with these situations, I engage the services of Vic Robb as an external provider who became a key in training staff to manage these situations.
Vic’s ability to give practical advice in dealing with real life situations became an asset to M>Trams in reducing anti-social confrontations and gave staff more confidence in dealing with these situations.
Regards,
Trevor Greer
